Description

I'm clawing, crawling, slower, deeper
For this void in my head only you can fill
Your fingers reach so far into my soul
My blood is filled with blood you spilled
And it's falling to someone

And it's finally falling to someone
My spirit seeks these desperate moments
Dissolving the prescribed crucifix
It lurks and watches, slowly, waiting
To wash the sickness from my mind

(Neurosis, The Web)

I really like this composition. The lines and the forms are so different, but so familiar at the same time. This photograph is very powerful, with the contrast of the shadows and the highlights on your subject, but at the same time there is enough of a gradient for the subject to look interesting. I like the focus in the center, and how the background is a little blurry. It really emphasizes the shapes in the foreground, and the blurriness in the background makes the piece look more abstract. Overall, I believe that you did a really good job on this piece. I've never seen anything like this before.
