I have my reasons to believe that it's a photo, ~anjusha wouldn't cheat with categories. She has a lot of photos of rusted, scratched or otherwise damaged surfaces in her gallery. :)

I know her gallery a bit and she is always dodging the answer to this question. But then again, I see no reason she would cheat as you said. Works would be as popular and amazing even in other category, so it doesn't make sense indeed. (however, bunch of textures in her gallery and favs give me another reason to be suspicious.) (but then again, why do I care :D)

I suppose that any "earnest" abstract artist would refuse to reveal the real subject of their images. ;)

still, I am not buying it. on other hand, your own abstract always leaves me pondering what is it, inspires and brings questions, but never about these things :) I just appreciate that much more, that is all.
