i would write a critique on this swince its ben so long sicne we've seen some of your work but unfortunately i cannot becase my brain is frazzled from exams DX i may do one later but for now i just have to say its on my favourites
That's still a very long way to go. No, I haven't had the chance to show my work in an exhibition so far. It's hard to find space for exhibitions around here, and a single exhibition also would be way too expensive. I'd love to take part in a group exhibition, but...you know...I don't know many photographers around here where I live.
Do you have such a format of exhibitions - cafe-gallery? They often change the exposure there and it is much easier to participate. You pay nothing; you just suggest your works by email. But the status is not so high, of course! But for a beginning, maybe? You benefit from exposure and showcase your works to an audience keen on photography.. It's not so popular in Russia but I've heard that it really works in Europe. Is it true or not? Would be nice to know
Unfortunately not. I live in a very small town in the countryside, and although we do have some galleries and cafes here, there are more focused on...let's say "popular" art. The next bigger city has a renowned art school and several very high quality museums and galleries, but it's almost impossible for a hobbyist to get in there. Because, you know, in Germany you are nothing without a degree...it's hard to get noticed if you're completely self-taught.
