In my absence now When time will pass and nothingness abide See the evening rise and take my word for it Focuses beyond your vision will unfold my empty space Time froze over
hey Florian this one's beautiful, I love the light quality and the way it almost seems to be giving the bench a sort of aura or halo. I love the way the space around the bench doesn't have to much detail or pigments around it highlighting the fact that whatever the person was looking for on the bench, no matter what it is, can't be there because the bench - even the space around the bench is empty enough to prevent any mistaking of something being on the bench. I also like the way the tree and rocks are black without much detail other than the main outline, leaving no doubt about what it is, but also allowing it to fade into the back ground and emphasise the bench. And finally the grainy quality of the mountains in the far background gives them slight detail while allowing them to fade away and give purchase to the bench. great work! Courtney.
