Description
Close your eyes, it's fine
By saying it's not real
There's no reason to forgive myself
No matter what it seems
And if I could grow some wings
I'd fly away home
(Antimatter, Angelic)
Marktplatz, Lübeck (Germany).

I like the two layers in this photo! The one outside, the "reality" of the photograph and the one reflected inside the glass! The reflected one is what gives a "narrative", a meaning to the picture, but it is actually just a "reflection" of reality! It's just a fake, inaccessible reality... It's like an "idol", or a dream.. Its just an inaccessible version of reality, that somehow has more meaning than the reality itself.
On the other hand, the whole photograph as an item, is also a "reflection" of reality.. So the image then acquires a third layer, that of the reality of the viewer.
So "Semiotically" is a very interesting work!
I know, I'm over analyzing it, but.. never mind, that's how I understand it! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
