I added this to my favorites before, and then saw it again when *eintoern featured it. I had to view again, I really like this so much. I see you in there but mostly it reminds me of rubbing the scales off a butterfly wing by touching it, which is kind of haunting and melancholy.
Thank you very much for your appreciation and for sharing your thoughts. It's really interesting to hear and not too farfetched - Most of my shots are somehow "inspired" by the experience of mental illness - the feeling of being disintegrated and the idea of a butterfly with broken wings has a lot in common for me.
It was like - and inspring as you can see! The exhibition included mixed media, photography, lithography and some short films (for example "The Cowboy and the Frenchman" ) - it was a real pleasure! Haunting, disturbing, confusing - perfect!
